Change The Outcome of One Fight

if you could change the outcome of one fight in the history of boxing, what fight would it be, what would you change it to and why?

for me, i'd change baldomir's TKO over gatti to a UD win for gatti. if gatti won that fight (and he could have, too), he would've been recognized as THE welterweight champion. he would have been a three division champion and would have won the biggest fight of his life.

Hmm. I was at the Baldy/Gatti fight so I want to say that, and the DLH/Mayweather fight just out of spite for mayweather(though matchup-wise things COULD be better with a victorious mayweather). In the end Ill go with Tyson/Lewis.

meldrick taylor gets the chance to finish the fight against chavez. if you are a boxing fan then you should recognize that he deserved to finish like the brave man he was.

Vitali vs. Lewis

For me it would be the SD gift to Muhammed Ali in his second fight with Ken Norton. It should have been scored a UD for Norton over Ali.

If I could change something that happened in a fight, I would have Vitali not be cut in his fight with Lennox. Then, let whoever win who gets the decision or KO! More than anything in boxing history, I wish that damn cut hadn't happened.

I agree with you guys on Gatti too. It was sad watching him get knocked out. By Baldomir of all people too. That win would have been huge.

Yeah, but Gerald was such a worthless human being that the state Benn left him in after the fight was a blessing compared to what he really deserved.
