really UFC in general but Mayweathers mouth helped. Now all we need is another Tysonesque heavy to capture the imaginations of the general public! -
We got one in Lamon to bad he is about as exciting as paint drying on the wall when it comes to talking and media appearances...
Lamon is our man in america...Perhaps Shannon Briggs...I would say we got Wlad but nobody in the U.S. actually enjoys a big russian giant smacking people around...We want to see Americans smack around other people...
Lamon is our man...Now only if he would get someone to give him some personality.Comment

mayweather's mouth is an absoute gem for boxing, but I just wish he wouldve backed it up in the ring, if not with results then at least with trial and error.Comment

I dont think you can back it up anymore than Mayweather did...He clowned Oscar basically luring him in and smacking him with precision at will...Just because he isnt a hard puncher he still landed leather on Oscar basically everytime he threw a punch...You cant expect a fighter to change their style just because of one fight...Comment

UFC will probably take over Boxing one day, its all wank though
who the **** cares if some fat american baseball fan with a hot dog nachos and a pepsi wants to watch the fight?
I just watch the sports I love which includes both MMA and BoxingComment

you obviously dont appreciate Floyds talent like I do, there were times in the latter rounds where he could have gone for the kill and chose not to make the attempt.
By the way, I have seen fights where he did just that-Gatti, Corley, etcComment

The sport cares because those fat americans with beer guts eating a hot dog are the ones that pack the seats and pay for the pay per view. Without them no huge purses, media coverage etc.. we need them for the sport more than they need boxing.Comment
