Who Else Was Impressed With Floyd Physically?

I thought that was the best Floyd's body ever looked. Obviously he was bigger then ever but he even carried it more well this fight. He looked wide, had big arms, and it had no negative effect on him. He still had his speed and seemed to have more pop then he's had at 147. I think those small gloves helped also. Thats why I was a little dissapointed in Floyd. I personally still thought Oscar tried hard as hell and did everything he could while Floyd just cruised. To me it looked like Floyd couldve killed him if he let his hands go. I thought he arguably looked like he had more power then Oscar. When Floyd was blocking Oscar's punche he would just stand there and take it but when Floyd threw a straight right that Oscar would block, there were alot of times where Oscar took a step back "after" the punch. He knocked Oscar off his base alot of times with that punch, even when he clearly blocked it.

I didnt get to watch all the 24/7's so I dont know if Floyd did anything special for this fight or got a fitness trainer but I thought he looked very solid. Way bigger then he even looked at 147 despite him being basically the same size. I think if he goes back down now then he will be a full blown WW and if he stays Offensive like he does in half his fights then he will phyiscally shock alot of guys. I would love to see him keep those reyes gloves also. I doubt it since he said he hurt his hand again but I think they certainly help your power. Again, in the Oscar fight I honestly believed Floyd was worried. I think he was wondering if he could carry his speed and have any power but more importantly he wondered would Oscar be this big freak who punched like a truck and was really strong. Even his dad was telling him in camp to watch out for Oscar's power and really respect it. I think that put Floyd in a respect mode that he didnt need to be in. You could see that as the fight went on he felt that the size wasnt nothing special and that he had just as much strength and power as Oscar despite being outweighed by 20 pounds. In a rematch he would show him alot less respect and at 147 I think he will be a monster now

That too. Oscar did catch him clean a couple of times. He even landed the left hook clean like one time in the 3rd or 4th round and Floyd took it well. I admit I was a little scared for Floyd in the 12th round when there was 10 seconds left. I said to myself I hope that Floyd doesnt try to just swing wild with Oscar to impress the crowd because he might get caught big. He did and Oscar caught him with 2 solid punches but again Floyd took them well

How do you figure that? When was Floyd hurt? Neither was really hurt but the only guy to get buckled was Oscar in that 5th round when he tried to flurry on Floyd on the ropes and he got caught with those 2 rights. When was Floyd hurt at all? Dont just listen to what Oscar says. Oscar says that dumb crap but Floyd was never hurt

Floyd was hurt serveral times. Most of the floyd fans interpreted it as him using footwork to get away from oscar on the ropes, but Oscar buckled his legs several times. I think Oscar got shook a little bit twice.

I can't believe this thread. People say Pac fans are biased and blind nuthuggers, but Floyd haters are even worse.

I agree. Zab rattled Floyd with a straight left that had Floyd covering up until he recovered. Same with Corley. I didn't see any of that with DLH. Oscar landed some shots that stopped Floyd in his tracks, but they never "hurt" him in a sense that he was dazed. Floyd's right hand that buckled Oscar was the only punch in the whole fight that I thought may have rattled either of them.

Yeah bro i agree he looked much bigger for this one!!! plus how good was his attack in the later rounds? Jab to the body followed by the right hook to the head!!! Oscar tried his hardest to bully floyd but only seemed to make him smile!!! I dont think they need to meet again because next time floyd will stop Oscar!!!
