Mayorga-Vargas...Did I miss Something?

Mayorga-Vargas was set to be on May 5th, 2007. Well I heard it wasn't going to be aired, but Mayorga being my main fighter, I was excited to see this go down. Well I waited and waited and seen nothing, I never seen a thread on here posting a cancellation and there's nothing on BoxRec.

It was never signed. Never trust Boxrec. All you had to do was look on the schedule on this page or ESPN's.

I spoke to Mayorga back at the Floyd-Oscar Miami press conference and he said that he had signed the contract but was waiting for Vargas' camp to sign. A few days after that, I remember hearing that Vargas said he agreed to the fight (though I dunno if an actual contract was signed). Last I heard thru the g****vine was that the fight was to take place in either June or July.
