u do what u like tech but u have to admit there are plenty of fights at welterweight for floyd. His arguement that he has nothing to prove is still debatable even tho he's done great things and again i'm not trying to bash him or hate on him or anything like that just wanna see him in a few tough fights before he retires.

If PBF beats fellow p4p's...pbfs critices cant make excuses he hasnt beat anyone good!
His haters are always going to hate. Even if he beats a champion 120-108 with a broken hand they'll still talk **** about him not getting a KO. But I agree, Hatton should be the next fight. There is no Arum involved and no Golden Boy involved.

U also said he picks and chooses fights, which imo, he clearly doesnt,

If he has something to prove in your eyes,

Those are your eyes, i cant do anything about that,

Personally i wouldnt pick anyone at 140 and 147 over him,

Especially after i saw him come in the ring at 148 pounds and beat De La Hoya who weighed near 160.

If Hatton legitmately calls out Mayweather after the Castillo fight, then i will be serious about his chances in that fight, till then, imo, Hatton dont wanna fight cos he knows he will lose.

I wouldn't back anyone to beat him but i would say there are fighters with a better chance of beating him than the ones he fought in the ww division. Oscar did a good job but didn't have the stamina to maintain the pressure for 12 rds and he never really hurt him and i don't think the rematch would be much different so would rather see him fight one of these guys if he fights again.

Yeah, what your saying here is fine,

Im split on the issue, part of me wants floyd to fight Hatton, think that would finish off a few myths about how Hatton's style is made for him.

But after seeing how that judge scored the fight 115-113 for de la hoya, im not sure he should come back, what went on in Vegas was an attempted robbery, i cant belive Max Kellermann of HBO is one of the only guys i have seen protest that score, it was a disgrace.

Infact i totally agree with what Kellerman said (word to this effect)

"If you scored the fight 7-5 to floyd, i begin to have a problem with you, but to score the fight to De La Hoya? i dont care what side of the ring he was sitting on, you cant score that fight for De La Hoya''

To me if he comes back, he has to win his fights very clearly, otherwise he will get screwed.

Don't get me wrong i agree floyd won the fight but because of his defensive style he will have to win his fight by bigger margins to ensure victory especially against a big name guy like oscar. I would like to see him fight hatton cotto all those guys clean up a division and act like he did on jay leno and he will be remembered like he wants to be for sure.

Thanks for agreeing. A lot of people say the obvious stuff like "PBF dont need Hatton" I have never said PBF needs Hatton. Only that it may be in his best interests to fight excellent fighters of his own time period and generation. DLH was great but DLH acheived his greatness in the past to get the reputation he has now. Hatton is the obvious choice.

Hatton would throw more punches than DLH. It comes down to fitness. DLH wouldnt neccescarily be toughter for PBF than Hatton. DLH was bigger but he werent p4p rated.

I dont know if Hatton thinks he will lose? Hatton says he thinks he would win. I wouldnt like to say Hatton is a liar. Certainly not to his face anyway. But your right i havent heard much of him talking pbf of late. More interested in DLH. Maybe because PBF is talking retirement, even though the general concensus is that he isnt gonna retire. But Hatton wants to be rated No1 and beating PBF would give him a shortcut to that destination so i am sure Hatton wants PBF still

                      Yep,

Trust me, if he fights moesly, i reckon he will get screwed,

Mosely's one of those show fighters who throws quick pitter patter shots which catch the judges eye, they aren't that powerful, just show,

This is why Floyd is legitimatley fast, he doesnt do pitter patter, he does quick Power shots, there is a major difference,

The Gatti fight, those sickening combinations, Power shots, shot desgined to end the fight.

Moesly, pitter patter, little power, judges score the shots,

Judges probably get turned on by mosely's style, even if im not sure how much substance it has.

If floyd fights mosley, he better win clearly, otherwise the only '0''s he will have left are the ones on his bank statement.
