Martin "Gallito" Castillo set for comeback

Martin Castillo will be fighting this weekend in Mexico. On May 12th. Castillo will be fighting the "dangerous" Jorge Romero. Who holds an impressive record of 10-32-6ko's.

Keep in mind this only a tune up and to let Castillo work off his ring rust. But nonetheless Castillo will finally make his return. He is the WBA #1 opponent for the new champ, Alex Munoz.

Ya....Well with this being his longest lay off, and after he had surgery (where they removed his scar tissue, hoping to reduce the chances of getting cut easily again) also....Castillo lost his long time trainer this year.(he past away)

So, we are just letting him get his "feet wet" again. So a tune up is necessary.

There have been no serious talks with Vic. And....with Montiel, we tried making that fight a long time ago. But nothing really surfaced.
