How many pounds did Mayweather just move up to fight Dela Hoya?

Point is Hatton is being very wise to stay away from Mayweather.
I think Hatton will beat Castillo...the guy is just about used up.After that...I don't think a PBF fight is in the cards for him.

I will give props to Hatton for coming over to the USA and fighting...unlike the other local ***** over there.

Hatton moving up to 147 is not really comparable to Mayweather moving up in weight due to the fact that hatton relies on his strength to physically dominate and intimidate opponents. In his last 3 fights it doesn't look to me like he carries his strength up with him, you can tell by his body langauge that his shots aren't having the desired effect on his recent opponents.

With Hattons style and his tendency to cut i wouldn't be suprised to see one of his fights end in major controversy.

Fighting inside, leading with head+ tendency to cut around the eye area + Hatton very quick starter, stealing rounds early on = Jesse James Leilja Vs Micky Ward

Your joking aren't you? From what I remember, Judah was struggling to get to grips with him..

Witter won four of the first six rounds, from memory.

Judah beat him 118-110, was one of the worst fights i've ever seen, ok he did take it at short notice but had no ambition of winning the fight. Hell witter almost lost to Kotelnik, Witter is like a mini Johnny Nelson clone.

Is there actually anybody who cares about Ricky Hatton at this point? He has derailed his own career with a combination of poor performances, avoiding the best fights, and ****ty business decisions.

Two years ago, he beat Tszyu and was mentioned as potentially the man to beat Mayweather. Now, he is barely mentioned at all and he is fighting an aging Castillo.

Even if he beats Castillo, what does that prove? That he can beat a guy who is well past his prime?

It HAD to sting Richard watching Floyd get all that attention and make all that money. It could have been him.

How the hell is Castillo past his prime, he KO'd corrales and couldn't be arsed to fight a no name, Castillo always was poor against poor opponents. Hell Ngoudjo was undefeated at the time, who knows what sort of fighter he can become. Hatton is having 10,000+ fly from the UK to watch the fight, no other fighter would get that type of support.

                      MAJESTIC,

JOSE LUIS CASTILLO IS A 34 YEAR OLD LIGHTWEIGHT. I hate to tell ya, man, but EVERY lightweight (or SLW in this case) is past his prime.
