My dad was a fireman. He said if I ever got a bike I was an idiot. I told him if I did I would always wear a helmet. He said that sometimes all a helmet did was keep the brains in one place. And even though your head may be protected from trauma, the rest of your body is not.

I found the clip on youtube, I dont think it was on the news, I think he was wearing a helmet, but the car that hit him I am sure did all the damage

You do realize the car didn't hit him, right? Chico was going 100 mph on the streets and when a car stopped in front of him he was going so fast he rammed right into the back of it and went flying. Going that fast, a helmet isn't going to help you at all. If he wasn't driving around so recklessly, he'd still be alive today...

Yes, I've read the same thing on multiple news sites. He rear ended the car, lost control and was hit by another car on the oncoming lane. According to what I've read, of course. He was wearing a helmet, but the strike by the oncoming vehicle is what apparently killed him.

correct, I read that he hit the back of a honda accord and that sent him flying onto on coming traffic, it was then the Mercedez hit him

I still think the official investigation is ongoing. But all the reports say he was driving recklessly and fast. They did confirm he did not have a Nevada driver's license nor a motorcycle license .

Heard about it this morning, its ****ed up. I didn't know it was motorcycle until later. When you get on dat **** your taking risks. Its sad this had to happen though. Even worse he has a infant kid too. I think another one on the way.
