Gayweather is dumb, but he's not quite dumb enough to accept a cage match. he would get taken down in about 5 seconds and submitted.
UFC offers Mayweather a fight!

If you never tried MMA please don't talk bad about it. I have train in boxing for about 4 years now and and I have being working on Thai Boxing and Brazilian Juit Jitzu for about 2 now. If you want want to be a complete fighter you have to have the entire package.
If you think MMA is **** please try going to a succesful MMA school for a couple of months. Than come in here and talk about itComment

Yeah, that makes a ton of ****ing sense. Why would you take away an element of the fight? Because Mayweather is one dimensional? That's not anyone elses fault. The fact is that in order to even dream of being garnered the greatest FIGHTER in the world, you're probably gonna have to be proficient in something MORE than boxing. Besides, Mayweather was the one that said the boxer could step into the cage and knock the MMA guy out, not the other way around.Comment

then floyd will offer a challenge to one of the ufc fighters to fight one of floyds fighters in a boxing match and nothing will ever happenComment

god this is so ******, one day someone will challenge fedor at a gunfight, and I am sure some idiots will say he is a ***** for not accepting.
mma is another way of fighting, it is not ultimate by any means, not even among the fight sports which allow only to use your body... you cant bite, you cant eyegouge, can you hit in the crotch?
as long as it is a sport and not a real fight, there are rules, and that makes sure it is not "ultimate"Comment

Boxing and MMA are both fighting sports. But they are not the same sport. The same way basketball and football both use a ball and have some similarities but they are not the same sport.
It's not that hard of a concept to grasp. Why would a MLB or NBA star be judged on NFL standards? Makes no damn sense.
Would a UFC fighter lace up the gloves and get in the boxing ring? They'd be dusted, easily. The same way a boxer would be completely out of his element in a UFC octagon.
This whole boxing/UFC **** is ******. You don't see MLB and the NBA feuding, NFL and NBA, etc. Probably because the fans are smart enough to realize that they aren't the same sport.Comment
