I think his technical analysis kills Lampley and Merchant,

I was quite impressed by his tactical reading of the fight when i saw it on youtube.

    Johnny Nelson however......

    thats another story.

    lol.
He has good days and bad days, some days he can be completely bias and others he can be right on the mark.

I enjoy listening to him though, and Johnny Nelson I almost always disagree with.

Johnny Nelson, where do ya start? lol.

Probably with his nickname, probably the most ironic nickname in history

      Johnny 'The Entertainer' Nelson.

      What can you say?

      lol.

Well at least we get to see it for free,

        ITV 3 again?

        Another Frank Warren card?

        I can see it now.

Amir Khan vs Danny the Doorman of the Red Lion Pub

Audley Harrisson vs Matt Skelton (Winner gets a title shot)

Michael Sprott vs Danny Willams 4 (Winner gets a title shot)

Michael Sprott and Danny Willams in a tag team match against Matt Skelton and Michael Sprott (Winners get two titles shots)

        You know it will happen.

I would assume it will be a dfrank warren card yes dunno how close it is to being a done deal tho. No doubt Amir Khan would be on the card yes but come on he's only young they gotta give him experience before he fights anyone too good. Would think Enzo would fight also by the way did you read that bobby gunn said that fight was topped early and he could've won? muppet! That was supposed to be Enzo Haye on that card but it fell through so could've been ok just to defend warren a little as he gets bashed alot on here most of the time rightly i know.

More like Johnny "I should stick to knitting" Nelson.

Even though I disagree with him alot, he's a familiar face and for me the show's alot better with him than without him, atleast for me.

I tell you who they need to have as a pundit

              JIM MC DONNELL

Oh my daze this guy is so funny, friend of mine went to the JC-Manfredo fight and met him,

If you ever see this DVD, '101 knockouts in 101 minutes' (its in HMV) you will see what i mean,

Its barry hearn's matchroom boxing fighters, mainly bums and journeyman, and there are some BRUTAL knockouts, with hillairous commentary from the like of Nicky Piper, Jim Mc Donnell etc.

example: Darren 'Raging Bull' Corbett hits Dominquez with a savage hook which knocks him out,

Commentator says: ''****!, ohhh you dont get too many of those to the pound, look, look, awwww i felt that myself''.

              Hillarious.

I think Calzaghe wins this fight 116-112, 8-4, if he doesn't hurt his hands in the fight. However, thats not the problem with this thread. The problem is no one pointing out the extremely obvious differences between Taylor not leaving the US and Calzaghe not leaving his island. The US is 75 times the size of England. A fighter born and raised in Arkansas has no advantage fighting in NYC or Vegas. Also, with few exceptions, fighters here don't even have advantages in their home towns. The US mainstream doesn't follow boxing anymore. There is usually no advantage for a US fighter fighting in America, but there are usually obvious advantages for fighters from small countries fighting at home. You don't need to look further than the Manfredo stoppage or Sven Ottke's entire career to see that. Every now and then you get a fighter like Joe Mesi who gets super popular in an area in the US (Buffalo for him) and will have an advantage there, but its really rare. It doesn't seem very rare at all overseas.

Not a chance. Taylor has a broader appeal than Spinks. Spinks can sell 20,000 tickets in his own back yard, but he will never be a PPV star. Calzaghe wants Taylor to dominate Spinks and knock him out. I don't think it is going to happen. There is a chance Taylor might even lose, and that really will screw up Calzaghe's plans!
