          It is unbelievable. A great fighter, a great guy. I met him in Manchester the night before Hatton fought Tszyu, a really nice genuine guy who gave everything in the ring. He'll be sadly missed.

              This is very hard to process.


              Every individual who has expressed remorse, shock and disbelief genuinely means it.

              I am absolutely certain.. I feel exactly the same way.


              My initial response was denial..

              I didn't want it to be him.

              I didn't want it to be true.


              I don't even have to think about it - he was purely lovable as a fighter.

              Even before all this nobody could question the man.

              He was a great individual.


              This isn't just another case of tribute to the fallen.

              Diego Corrales deserves every single expression.

                i barely liked the guy, but i'm shattered as he was a true warrior........damn why do the good always have to die young.

                  This man gave his heart to the sport of boxing and will always hold a place in the hearts of all boxing fans because of his warrior spirit in the ring, RIP to a true warrior Diego "Chico" Corrales.
