        I always had a lot of respect for Diego. He was always active and fought the best. R.I.P.

          I am completely devistated, i feel like I've lost a good friend. having met Chico a handful of times, it hurts. thing is, I know Chico from being a fan, I met him for the first time snowboarding up at Lee canyon and after that each time i ran into Chico he remembered me and we had more than just boxing to talk about.

          i'm turley sad, and my heart goes out to his family, this is tragic to the fullest in every aspect.

          one thing though about living out here in vegas, this town, no joke, i know every city says this but THIS CITY HAS THE WORST DRIVERS!!!! NO EXAGGERATION!!! we have about 6 big wrecks a day out here, and as far as Chico running into the back of that car, i'm willing to bet traffic was fine and moving along and like always comes to a screeching halt. it happends all the time, if someone is getting a ticket, or they can't merge, or someone on the side of the road has a flat, traffic will come to a complete stop out of now where, it happends everyday all day out here, also, people run lights and **** like crazy out here all the time. as far as driving let alone riding a bike vegas is a very very dangerous place to drive, you have to keep your head on a swivel and even then sometimes you can't avoid a wreck.

          I TOLD EVERYONE I KNOW AND I'M TELLING EVERYONE HERE ON THIS BOARD, IF THE WRECK WAS ALCOHOL RELATED, IF CHICO WAS DRUNK, I AM QUITTING MY JOB AS A BARTENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! over the years i've delveloped a conscience about getting people drunk and after a while i've been saying that my job does more bad than good, i can't handle the fact that from me serving people something like this can happen as a result to my serving drinks, I can't keep slanging booze if this is the case in Chico's death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          he was one of my favorites and the real PEOPLES CHAMPION! no other will ever come close to being what Diego Corrales was in or out of the ring. no matter whatever Floyd does, Oscar, ETC, they don't hold a candle to Chico!!!

            ========

            Thanks SPAMorak for giving me red karma for this thread. You continue to be a sensitive little *****. Go **** yourself for wasting my time when I'm honoring Diego Corrales. The fact that you even care about Karma shows what an insecure ***** you are.

            RIP Diego.

                Don't think God had anything to do with that. It was all Chico.
