I am definitely wearing some black tomorrow. This was way too sudden. He was only 29, and is leaving behind a wife and kid. This is just awful.

Died at the scene **** we lost the true blood and guts warrior. RIP Chico goddammit this has upset me. He was able to overcome prison find the right woman and was rehabilitated enough to treat her right. My thoughts and Prayers are with this complex mans family. A reformed convict, a fan favorite, a certified gourmet chef who showed he could change.

He had Chacon like balls with weighing down a pair of spindly legs that created scary Bob Foster like Power. I have followed his career since he was a ring new face and later saw my first Diego fight on TNF where he boxed, stalked and starched a guy with one right hand late in the fight.

He gave us a fight of the decade I predict, Humbling loss in a big fight against Floyd, where I will never forget no matter how much he was dropped he got up and almost wanted to beat his step dad for merciifully stopping it. His title winning destruction over Roberto Garcia was a thing of beauty.

The guy was a true throwback to the old day and another like him may never been seen again. He may have been on the end of his trail in the fight game, but he had been called exposed and shot before and came back. Goddammit I wish he had the chance to prove us wrong again. RIP, Sleep well fighting Prince God Bless.

Like another poster said we should all change to Chico Avatars Immediately out of respect.

Leave Gatti the **** alone. Chico wasn't the type of guy to put **** on Gatti. Your a tool. Leave other fighters out all threads dedicated to Chico's memory, out of respect for him and his peers who respected him.
