This has been discussed many a times. At the pro level, he'd probably get wasted.

Savon was a grown man beating on kids in the amateurs, but that doesn't change the fact that he could have succeeded as a pro, if you've watched him you'd know that he was very talented and could have gone far.

Well, #1 Felix was a mature man beating up young men.

#2, the pro ranks are littered with failed fighters who had great records at the amateur level. Very few have been successful but their names are now household names: SRL, Mayweather, Holyfield, Hoya, Clay/Ali, Foreman etc etc

He won an Olympic gold medal in 1992, 1996 and 2000, that's amazing. He would have won a title for certain, and possibly have become an ATG.

              Olympic Gold Medal Winners:

              Muhammed Ali
              George Foreman
              Joe Frazier
              Lennox Lewis
              Wladimir Klitschko
              Michael Spinks

If Savon had turned pro, he would have been fighting in the 90's and the days of Holyfield, Moorer, Bowe, Lewis, Tyson. If he had been a contender, it would have interesting, that's for sure. I doubt he would have dominated, he may or may not have won a title, he'd probably have been KO'd a few times as well. I would take Lewis or Holyfield to have beaten him. Bowe made mincemeat of Gonzalez. As did a few other guys. Great amateurs do not always make great pros.
