Listen people Floyd mayweather is the quinessential fighter of are generation, he is a guy who can adapt to any sitation thrown in front of him in terms of a boxing match...... And this is exactly what he did SAT, despite the lackluster effort to KO or even hurt De La Hoya he did exactly what i had predicted him to do and that was to OUTBOX Oscar, I do give ODLH credit for stickin in there and giving it 122% but the fact is, Floy Mayweather is the best PURE boxer in the sport and it would/will take either a naturally bigger and faster or better boxer with power to beat him and Oscar only covers 1 of those criterias........ Floyd is a world class fighter with a style that would give even the Middleweight champs and challengers such as Winky, Aberham, Strum and even Taylor serious problems... at this point i even believe he could outbox the color off of Edison Miranda's black ass....! Floyd mayweather is indeed tha P4P champ,,, and yes people he can make a case of being 1 of the best ever, with his adaptablity, quickness, and stellar defense i see more Sugar Ray Robinson in him then anyother fighter before or after!
I however hate to see him go-out with such a unsatisfying win as the win he recieved on SAT and feel he will be drawn back into the sport sooner then later when 1 of the following happens.......... 1. Margarito beats Williams (wont happen) and faces the winner of Cotto V Judah(Judah wins)... However if Cotto does beat Zab and somehow the winner of Marg V Williams i believe Floyd would rather fight Cotto out of the 4 and would make an immediate comeback to do so.... I also see him coming back to fight say Ricky Hatton if he can somehow make it big in the States in the next 2-3 yrs and would take either 30-70 or 30-60..... Another fight i see Floyd taking is the Sugar Shane fight after Shane wins a few matches and takes the low amount in any type of split........... Another senerial that can play out even sooner is if some how Cory Spinks beats Jermaine Taylor.. we could see Floyd back in action as soon as Next summer!
But Floyd wont return if Paul Williams beats Marg and then the winner of Cotto V Judah becuz the money wont be there right away and Williams posses to big of a threat then all 3 others becuz of his size, power and ability to take a punch........ Also i really do believe Margarito and Zab are tottally out of the picture, Zab becuz his been there done that and Zab in all honesty could and would have had Floyds number had he even tryed to train as hard as Mayweather does....... and well i genuinelly think mayweather doesnt like any of Margs credintials or him for that matter!
