How can ANYONE beat WRIGHT without being active?

If your not throwing 60+ punches a round against Winky, do you really have any hope?

Thats why i think an Old Hopkins wont win the fight.

His defense is good enough to keep him in the fight though, but how in the world does he expect to win without throwing? is that even possible?

you can stop his jab make him be active
like he was with taylor then counter
    his short weak shots

    thats it
i think hopkins is going to play
the jab game with him slip
    and counter winky weak combos

if he goes in a shell liek in the fight where
he lsot to taylor and wasnt throwing punches
i think winky could squeeze out a victory

but bhop is big strong and is highly
skilled boxer. winky is more than a jab
his first half of his career he was a slick boxer
so he can move and box as well as play cage denfense

the question for this fight is can winky carry 170 well
in a rough 12 round fight

Yeah... Wright hasn't been in shape at 160 since the Trinidad fight. Just seems he will be way flabby at 170. It will be bad for his underrated jab speed if he packs on nothing but fat.

Thats why a fight with Ouma at 154 would have been interesting.

It depend before I thought WInky but Hopkins looked sharp at a higher weight very strong and still fasted. I mean this will be a tactical fight Winky presses but in a manner that he wont wear himself out (he doesnt throw alot of power punches). Hopkins is a pretty quick counter puncher with decent power but he likes to wear down his oppenents. I think it will come down to the last few rounds and who can sustain a higher energy level as the fight may be even. This could be way off but thats how i see it. Peace

Hopkins likes to throw a hook or a right hand and jump into a clinch, then pound a few punches before spinning the guy. He's gonna be doing that and Wright is going to cover up like he always does and Hopkins is going to look busier eventhough he is beating on Wrights arms.

hopkins wins late rounds and takes it from winky in a close discision.

winky was flabby against quartey. i dont think he will carry 170 that well and it will effect his stamina. im pulling for him to win but i think hopkins will win a tight decision due to winky taking off rounds
