Mayweather is top 5 easily, but he's not going to surpass Robinson or Ali

I am not sure people would give him respect for fighting and beating Shane at this point in Shane's career. "Good Win, but Shane was not in his Prime"
For Hatton, the man already lost to Mayweather: Hatton refused to fight Mayweather, that counts as a retreat from the battlefield in my opinon.
Seems to me that people are just waiting for Floyd to get into his 30's before fighting him.
Even now, Floyd doesn't seem 100%: His punch out-put has steadily declined in matches, although I wonder if that has more to do with him fighting bigger fighters and not wanting to take as many risks, or his wanting to be careful not to break his hands anymore, which could possibly be it.Comment

Its funny how the guy moves to a new weight and comes into the fight 4-6 pounds UNDER the limit, Uses gloves that risk injuring his hands, and Fights in a smaller ring than usual, but you people still hate. Give the man his ****ing due. Oscar was bigger, stronger and had EVERY tangible advantage set up in his favor and still couldn't beat Floyd.
Sorry to tell some of you, but circling your opponent is a staple of boxing. If you don't like it then go watch some UFC ****. You got the opportunity to see two of the greatest fighters in our era fight a very skilled and close BOXING match and you're still complaining? Floyd is the best "BOXER" to come along in a while. If you don't like his style of fighting then you don't like boxing.Comment

No one even gives Floyd credit for last night so why the hell should he come back and fight a guy Oscar clearly beat (Mosley) who people will also say is past his best and a guy who has accomplished nothing (Hatton)Comment

People make it seem like him fighting Hatton will actually mean something 10 years from now. A win over that chump won't do anything for his legacy. The best fighter in the world (Floyd) shouldn't have to chase people to get a fight set up either. How many more times does Hatton have to say "I need another year"? What a silly joke. If Floyd were to fight Shane and won like always he wouldn't get credit. Boxing fans are just so dramatic. So many of your guys can't appreciate greatness when you see it and hate, hate, hate instead. These same people are going to be the guys who are all over Floyd's crotch 5-10 years from now. It's going to be Pernell Whitaker all over again. Dammit, give credit where it's deserved and keep the drama to yourselves.
I don't think Floyd is the greatest of all time but he's definitely somewhere on that list. As for his skill and fighting style, I personally have enjoyed it more then any other boxer I've ever seen. He's a joy to watch.Comment

I give PBF credit for beating DLH. But that is 1 name. When 3 names wud be better to be the greatest ever as he put it. Hatton is a p4p as well so it is not like the argument that PBF shoiuld box Cotto or Margarito. They are not p4p's. Hatton is of PBFs generation. Dlh is yesterdays generation. Critics will criticise PBF for not having fought hatton. Especailly if those critics like Hatton. PBF dont NEED or HAVe to box Hatton...but it would be in his best interests to.
But well done PBF for last nights win. I heard it on the radio.Comment

Really?
Dempsey, Ali, Tyson...
Tyson vs. Ray Robinson, who you got?
Also remember, they "may" look slow on television, but if you are in there fighting them, they are not so slow.
kind of like how you can see a 95 MPH fastball on television, but if you saw it in real life, standing at the plate, pee goes down the "average" man's legComment
