Bautista Ready For World Title Challenge

Undefeated Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista kept his unblemished record in tact with a hard-fought unanimous twelve round decision over hitherto undefeated Argentinean Sergio “Rocky” Medina in a WBO world title eliminator on the undercard of “The World Awaits” mega fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Yes, this was the real fight of tonight. This fight was better then that oscar/floyd trash. This guy fought like a warrior, he was hurt and holding on to the ropes and had enough heart to continue and fight an amazing fight. This is a boxer who gain my respect. Both of these two boxers fought how boxers should fight. ACTION!!!

its was a tough tough fight, i think he came out of that fight better & stronger...

i think he is ready to challenge Ponce de Leon, and he deserve to be the mandatory challenge, by wining that fight...

and for now, stay away RAFA, Rey need more seasoning, and Ponce is a good first step ...

I'm not sure if he is quite ready for Ponce. Rey showed some defensive and chin issues that slightly detracted from his altogether impressive showing. I like Rey Bautista he is an exciting young fighter and I hope he goes far.

as of today he is mandatory of Ponce, if his not ready now, he may never ever be ready ...

so he should take the challenge and fight, all the issues like defense and chin will be answered on the fight itself ...

Boom Boom needs to work on his defense, he keeps getting hit in the head.

It'll be an easy fight for ponce...if the argentine was able to hurt baustista and only the clock saved him...imagine what ponce would do...bautista has no defense and his punches are not strong....so I see an early ko for ponce....

Definitely the fight of the night, I bet Medina is kicking himself now for letting Bautista live when he had him at his mercy.
