HBO Bias in Rare form for DLH vs PBF

The commentary was totally one sided for this fight but that is not whats new to HBO boxing. The fact that they never mentioned the weight issue and that PBF was possibly outweighted by 20lbs for this fight.

They pawned off the prefight weight-in as if it was the fight weight when giving the tale of the tape. They were stating that PBF was 4 years younger, reach advantage to DLH and when they got to the weight they simply stated that "PBF elected to come into this fight at 150lbs" and that 4lb weight advantage by DLH.

They know damn well it was much more than 4lb weight advantage for DLH. They also gave no credit to PBF for fighting at such an unnatural weight. Conversely weight was all they talked about when DLH fought Hopkins. When Mosley, Cotto, Margarito and Hatton had there last fights weight was a major topic of discussion.

I can guarantee that if the fight taking place was Pac-Man fighting Ricky Hatton at jrWW that weight would be a main topic of discussion but they clearly dont like PBF (most likely as result of his often ****y and assholish behavior) but for everyone to so clearly ignore the weight was horrible and brings my oppinion of HBO commentating to a new found low.

Floyd's weight was not "unnatural" he came in at his comfortable weight tonight at 148.

      Exactly like Floyd said.

"Tonight you just saw a welterweight beat a Jr. Middleweight"

He was "FIGHTING" at an unnatural weight. I never said he came in at an unnatural weight. Its clear that PBF was fighting way above what would be considered his natural or comfortable fighting weight.

People still arent commentating and giving Mayweather any respect for beating a man that was probably 20lbs more than him.

They won't give respect. Only a few have. Oh Oscar was old, and Oscar got tired. So be it, he lost.

Freddie Roach said Oscar weighed in at 157, and he wanted him no bigger than that. He was at most 12 pounds heavier. That doesnt matter though I didnt see a big size advantage in the ring. Floyd didnt look that much smaller to me. The size was irrelevant. Oscar isnt a big Jr. Middle.

antonion, you can't quite possibily say that 12 lbs is not a diffrence. It's a HUGE diffrence. It's a diffrent god damned weight class.
