You should look at the guy in your avatar, he probably ran more then any boxer in history and couldn't crack an egg.

I like both fighters and was just hoping for an entertaining fight. My pick was De La Hoya to win by TKO; I thought Floyd easily won the fight. He’s like James Toney in the sense that he looks like he’s getting hit but he’s really not. Some aspects of their styles are very similar. If you scored the fight for Oscar, watch it again in slow motion. Mayweather is without a doubt #1 on my P4P list.

Controlling the pace of the fight through ring generalship.

Landing the cleaner, harder, more accurate punches.

        And showing better defense.

isn't doing enough to win in your book?

What does then? Sending him into a coma?
if compubox says he landed more punches, fine, no comment about that...

controlling the pace of the fight??? he didn't control the flow of the fight... DLH did... floyd was cruising most of the time... so IMO he really didn't show such ring generalship... don't let his last fights and reputation make your opinions so biased...

landing cleaner punches??? DLH's glove had a beating, not DLH... if you count blows to the gloves as a punch landed, then you you should reconsider... accuracy, no question about that... but he didn't let his hands to much... he didn't do enough, like i said...

better defense? nah... you watched the fight as PBF not as a boxing fan that's why you have it all for floyd...

i think oscar did enough to take this fight. floyd WAS NOT at his best tonight. floyd DID NOT dominate. floyd DID NOT HURT oscar.

it was more on oscar having to prove himself rather than mayweather. he took out floyd's game in the early rounds. its hard coming from a mayweather fan, but im disappointed at him tonight.

If Wright beats Hopkins then he is still right there with Mayweather. If it wasn't for Mayweather's ability to dominate almost every fight then Wright would be #1.

              LOL!!

Did you just say Floyd did not control the pace of this fight?

Let me tell you something, if Oscar was the one who controlled the pace of this fight, there would of been a HELL OF A LOT MORE PUNCHES THROWN.

This was a textbook example of how to control the pace of a fight by Floyd.

If you disagree with that, you my friend know **** about boxing.

Wright will be a solid heir apparent to the throne when Mayweather is gone. Wright fights all the right people and works hard to get where he's at, but skillwise, he'll never come close to Mayweather's league. But we gotta have working class heroes too, right?

I thought hoya won the fight by 2 roundsso I scored the bout 115-113 but I'm not a boxing judge and I was watching from a tv not from the ringside. Two judges say mayweather won and one judge agreed with me, I say "no problemo".

Its either hate for PBF or some people have no appreciation for Willie Pep, Wilfredo Benitez or Pernell Whitaker. What PBF did was outbox DLH. If PBF haters want to see a marathon and a boxer really run then they should watch the last 4-5 rounds of the Trinidad vs DLH fight.
