It appears that a couple of hundred people voted on the poll on this thread - but if you look at the poll on the main page of this website (bottom left hand side), where thousands of people voted, 43 % thought De La Hoya won, with only 40.8 % thinking that PBF won.
Personally, I thought PBF may have won a close decision, although I was rooting for DLH. I voted in this poll that it was a draw, because it was VERY close, and a challenger in a title fight should win decisively to take the title away.
But shouldn't a boxer who is supposed to be p4p #1 decisively defeat an inactive past prime boxer? I think Mayweather is a good defensive boxer but he's very overrated, and he would lose at welterweight to Cotto, Mosely, Clottey, Williams and Margarito.
