Outside of that he was just getting pasted with looping rights over and over and over. A lot of them were blocked and Oscar showed good defense.....but Floyd was getting through the gaurd and stopping Oscar in his tracks with his own jabs.

Pretty easy fight to score if you ask me. I don't like the outcome, and I wanted to see Oscar win: but I dealt with reality right after watching it.
I agree that Floyd one, but I don't think that's a really accurate description of the fight. Floyd was not getting through Oscar's guard very often, except for the 10th and 11th rounds, where Oscar was still blocking the majority of his shots.

A lot of people are making at seem as if Oscar didn't land a punch the whole fight, but Mayweather was landing at will. Oscar was landing shots in his flurries. A good number missed, and some were only grazing blows, but the odd one got through clean. Mayweather wasn't faring much better until Oscar got gassed and stood flat footed and wasn't throwing punches. It was a pretty close fight.

        Typical punchstats for a round:

        Oscar: 75 thrown 9 landed

        Floyd 40 thrown 20 landed

You can't score a round for a person simply on effort when the other guy is outlanding him cleanly.

Honestly, watching it this morning, I thought the punch stats were way off, so I don't put too much stock into that. Neither guy was landing very often, so I gave the round to the guy that worked harder, which from my point of view, was 7 rounds to 5, for Floyd. It was a very close fight.

This is the type of fight that round for round was a lot closer than it really was. Mayweather definitely won more convincingly than the scorecards show; including mine, which was 7 rounds to 5 in favor on PBF.

My thoughts exactly......the punch stats seem way off.

I don't think he ever looked afraid or lazy. I think the smiles were out of frustration, because Oscar was more difficult than he expected. Floyd said he out boxed him easily in the post presser, but I think he only said it out of disappointment in his own performance. I think he really thought he was going to walk in and blow out DLH. The fight was a lot closer than Floyd wanted it to be. Like when he said it was so easy to hit Oscar in the face. I don't think I've seen a fight where Floyd landed at such a low rate.
