Im sorry but Im in the minority here. The truth is Im not a fan of either guy. Im gonna rewatch the fight again to double make sure I didnt see Oscar beat Floyd at his own game.(hit and not be hit)
Is it me or did Floyd smile his way to SD?
I saw to many blocked punches by Oscar that Floyd got credit for on compu box and also saw Oscar landing a lot more than Floyd. Again I will watch the fight to make sure, this isnt my final answer.

Have to admit, De La Hoya won mathematically in my eyes/mind/opinion whatever.

I had it level after 11, couldn't quite give Mayweather a share of the last IMHO.

are you ******ed? floyd did whatever he wanted in the ring and made oscar fight his fight. floyd was tatooing oscar's ass in fifth.

I think you also need to rewatch the fight. Floyd was not doing whatever he wanted in the ring. Oscar was blocking a lot of his punches. Neither guy tattooed the other at any point in the fight. The only ones I'd say had a clear connect difference were 10/11 were Floyd was clearly out landing, but Oscar was not getting beat up.

A lot of people here arent impressed with floyd and say he didnt fight like a great fighter, i have to agree with u guys and i expected that but oscar didnt do **** himself, he didnt step his game up.

i wouldnt say the fight was boring but it wasnt a good fight either, def no classic like it was bein hyped up to be.

I was impressed by how many punches Oscar was blocking with the gloves, I was impressed with Oscar's Defense for most of the fight as i didnt expect it, but I had it 7-5 Floyd after trying to give all close rounds to Oscar.

The judges & real boxing fans know when a shot lands & when it doesn't, & most of DLH's shot were hitting nothing but air, glove, elbow, or shoulder. Mayweather although at a more relaxed pace was landing hard & accurate shots the whole fight. Why would they see most of DLH's shots missed or blocked & turn around and say Mayweather was landing when he wasn't? I have to disagree with some guy on here cause I was very impressed with Mayweather. Don't get me wrong, by no means didn't DLH make it an easy fight, this was probably the toughest fight of Mayweather's career, & Mayweather did what he does best, he read DLH like an open book & by the 4 or 5 round had his rhythm going & I new the fight was over, after that all DLH would do was flurry the last 10 seconds of the round, which doesn't help if you were getting tagged for the first 2:50. IMHO both fought the hardest fight they could & Mayweather ended the night 38-0.

i got DLH winning until the later rounds when he stopped throwing jabs, didn't listen to roach, DLH's jabs actually works really well. not sure if he gassed out, was looking for a KO punch or what. he freakin stopped jabbing. everytime pbf gets hit he smiles. and pbf smiled alot.

i got PBF winning a very, very, very slim UD though. almost a draw.

if it weren't for DLH pressure fight (not consistent), the fight would have been really booorrriiiinnng.

if i am to rate this PPV by dollar, it's worth $30 not $55...




well at least BOOM BOOM won via dramatic fashion again, as usual. booyah!!
