Mayweather De La Hoya undercard = ****

this is one of the worst undercards ive ever seen, can we at least get a somewhat known fighter or a legit title shot? and please dont tell me rocky juarez, the best thing he did was not getting blown out by barrera in the first fight

    Rocky Juarez vs Jose Hernandez
Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista vs Sergio Manuel Medina..bautista is exciting but who the hell is the other guy?

Dino, this is one of your more sensible threads..And I agree that for the $ 55 you gotta shell out for this fight, there should be a much better undercard with some big and 'semi-big' name fighters. I would've like to see a Travis Simms, Darchiyian, or even Tommy Morrison on the undercard.

How about NOT Tommy Morrison. Overall I agree with all this though.

The Rocky Juarez fight looks pretty good, but yeah, they could do better than that. They are trying to use available Golden Boy fighters it looks like. It is too bad Juan Diaz signed with Don King instead of Golden Boy. He would have been perfect on that undercard. I guess Shane Mosely is too good to be an undercard, same with Winky Wright. I would still like to see a bit better of an undercard considering the price.

OK, I agree with the complaint that the undercard is not good, but considering what we're getting, I'll trade this undercard for the media attention and the scope of the event that we're getting in exchange.

Lewis-Tyson had a nothing undercard as I recall as well. Now, I know Pacquiao was on that undercard, but he was a complete unknown in America at the time and also a late replacement I believe. Who knows, maybe Boom Boom Bautista will have a similar career explosion after this card...we, as boxing fans, need to hope.

The two undercard fights are not great in terms of appeal, but there could be nice action in them...

there don't need to be an undercard.........do you think the promoters are silly to pay a couple of million extra for top fighters without being able to cash in on??

no matter who you put on the undercard, the gates/ppv are going to be the same.......so why pay extra!?!?!

                  i agree with moochi

a fight this big really dont need undercards they should have just gone with the main event alone ... lol

but we can always hope the undercards will bring some fireworks and future stars...
