Much of the clinching was Peter clinching Wlad. I've never seen so many rabbit punches in a fight as Peter gave in this one. Peter should have been disqualified.

Clinching, holding, whatever ya wanna call it, if it's legal and it works it's OK. If you wanna change the boxing rules, fine, but don't try to slectively apply them to one particular fighter.

Agreed. But refereeing that fight was Don King's own Randy Neumann, former sometime NJ heavyweight champ along with Chuck Wepner, the world's most incompetant and crooked referee - and what do they do, only trot him out for Andrew Golota and Wlad? I don't recall seeing that idiot pretend to referee any other fights.

              Clinching > Running

That is ABSURD. If you turn around and run away the referee - even Alfred E. "Randy" Neumann - will look upon that tactic critically. Clinching is, however, a perfectly legal part of boxing.

Do you understand what '>' means? I don't think we were in disagreement on the topic. Clinching is better than running, as a tactic. Two punches and clinch is better than two punches and out, for several reasons.

Oh, OK, sorry. I thought that you were saying that clinching is worse than running or mistaking the > for the =.
