    JLC vs. PBF

Jose Luis Castillo was robbed in his first fight with Floyd Mayweather.

I agree that people should stop bitching about the judges in Germany, but I do think some of the European refs stop some of the fights too soon.

...Excellent point as well and I said this about Brewster when he met Krasniqi over there and when Byrd fought Wlad for a second time in Germany.

Let's not forget the ref in Lacy-Reid! LOL And the grandaddy of all foreign fighter robberies was Lennox against Holyfield! Nothing even comes close to that one- right here in the good ol US of A.

Boxing is frequently swayed toward the hometown/homecountry fighter, NO MATTER where the fight is.

Steve Cunningham lost in Poland (yes, I know lots of US Americans have extremely poor knowledge of geography). Cunningham also lost fair and square (he didn't come to fight), with the US judge scoring the fight 119-110 to Cunningham in a blatant display of national bias.

In fact if you're going to say Germany is corrupt....and make a list of robberies that took place there, I'll counter with 10 examples for your 1 for ones that took place here in the States.

United States > Germany in corruption times 1000.
Agree, but disagree. Yea, there are lots of examples of close fights here (or even not that close) that go a different way.
But this **** they pull in Germany is a whole new level than just playing with the points. They try to rob you before you arrive in the country. Anything they can do to make you uncomfortable and **** with you before and during the fight they do. Trust me, unless you experience first hand you have no idea how clever they are and the **** they try to pull. I could write a book!

Naturally, there will be more robberies and bad decisions we know of that take place in America since it's a larger country there are way more fights that we see.

Every country has their questionable practices going on, but when was the last time you saw a non-American come to the states and the ref stopped the count at nine and waited until the fighter got up? When was the last time you saw the ref in America let the cornerman work on a cut in the middle of the round (foul or not, the cut was not from the foul)?

Cuz that happened twice in Germany in the last couple of years.

Those situations are worse than questionable decisions, or even terrible ones like Foreman-Briggs.
