is a conflict of interest?
Does anyone think DLH's promotional interest in the fight...

I dont see why. He's guaranteed more money than Floyd already and should he win, his stock and reputation shoot thru the roof. A loss may mean losing the most marquee fighter on his roster (himself).
Besides, lots of guys are their own promoters and/or managers (not so much in the sport of boxing, but it isnt unprecedented), why would it make a difference here?Comment

I like this question but i dont understand the context,
Do you mean conflict of interests in terms of promotional issues getting in the way of De La Hoya's fighting interests?
Are you saying he will be more inclined to make this a specticle, than to try and win the fight?
If so i think a case could be made for that.Comment
