Casamayor: "Can Diaz Step To My Level"

Its the only fight that makes sense. The other Diaz' are nothing special imo.

Casa is a far better boxer than he was when he took on Popo. I'll pick Diaz by UD.

diaz should beat casamayor, i don't think he is all that, he is highly over-rated

Casamayor's getting on these days, with speed & reflexes slipping noticably.
Can he do enough to keep the very busy Diaz down?

Personally still think Casamayor's still got enough left in the tank to pull it off, with his experience & determination making up for age, but a lot depends on good judging.

Casamayor may have to get atleast a knockdown to pull it off, as judges haven't been generous to Casa in the past.
Diaz being so busy will probably tip the judges his way, even if Casa obviously does the better boxing & lands the cleaner shots, so he'll have make sure his work can't be ignored.

it'd be a great fight because of the styles, the baby bull's swarming style against the slick boxer casamayor. it sounds like diaz wants the belts, maybe someone will convince him the Ring magazine title casamayor has is worth more

A fight with casamayor would be a step down in level for diaz...casamayor doesn't even have a belt...he is too old and isn't as fast as he used to be...it's just a set up so that the diaz haters can say that he beat an over the hill casamayor...diaz should go for the other belt holders..hopefully the winner of the diaz vs morales fight and then go after the other diaz with the belt.....

Casamayor isnt thrilled about anything. He got stripped for not making his mandatory defense in hopes of unifying it by beating Freitas. Since Freitas got beat and Diaz is the man, naturally Joel wants him.

Casamayor is starving and wont take anything but big fights now. He knows his time is in its twilight and needs money bad.
