There will be other mega-bouts after May 5th. It just won't draw as big. I don't think its the numerous weight classes that is to blame. In the U.S.A that maybe the case, but not in other parts of the world. The U.S. only cares about the heavyweights and love the hype over the actual fight, Mexico and parts of Asia loves the lower weights. I LOVE BOXING PERIOD. So NO don't take away the straw weights. In fact I'd love for boxing to add another weight class!! I want to see a SUPER-HEAVYWEIGHT CLASS. In America the lower weight fighters may not make as much $$$, but if they go overseas those fighters might actually get paid more, because there is a larger market for the little guys in some parts of Asia, primarily Japan. In a recent article printed in the Las Vegas Review Journal, several boxing experts predict that the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. showdown, taking place on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, would be the last mega-bout the sport will see for a very long time. Honestly, I heard them say that the Klitschko brothers finally putting aside their oath to never fight and going at it would be huge. I'm not saying it would happen but imagine if both brothers had two of the four major belts in a two years- and then decided to fight for a total unification. Can you imagine how big the media could make that? Two brothers fighting for heavyweight unification? If they really played that fight up right- I mean solely from a marketing standpoint- it could be massive. Truly gigantic.Comment

nice idea, but we have a muchhhhh better chance seeing Darchinyan face Jermain Taylor than the Klitschko's facin off against each otherHonestly, I heard them say that the Klitschko brothers finally putting aside their oath to never fight and going at it would be huge.
