50 Cent put some serious cash down. Dropped a mil on Mayweather!!! Come to think of it though, that's prob not really serious cash for him.

You know your arcade machine is probably worth triple that on Ebay. But whose your bet on?

I almost worked at the Palms too, but ended up staying at the Convention Center.

And each casino calculates their take a little differently, so you'll find different odds at different casinos. It's also going to change constantly at each individual casino with the tide of the betting because the casino has to make sure they make something off the whole deal. But your bet is locked in at what you make it at. So if you bet at +140 and it goes to +120, you're still gettin' the odds that were up when you placed the bet. Take a look at Barbary Coast if you get a chance. They supposedly have some of the best odds for betters.

Unlike a baseball, basketball or football game this fight might not even go the distance. Accidents happen. What if Oscar is taking the first half of the fight, then they clash heads and it goes to the cards? What if Floyd breaks his hand and pulls out? Just too many unknowns to really put down hard cash on a fight for me.
The thing about betting is not the reward its the thrill of winning or the possibility of "if" you would've won. To make the wager thrilling the payout would have to be significant to the person betting. This conversely means the risk for the better is at least some what signficant to the person betting.

so for someone making 150k a year 5k might be very exciting for them while someone making 25k a year a 5k bet would be ******ed. Betting is all relative.

BTW I cap my indivdual bets at $500 a fight or game. I made money on Corrales, PBF, Tito, Hopkins and scores of other fighters and teams. I will definitely place a bet on PBF.

Tip: If you are gonna bet on PBF place bet the day before, almost last minute. I almost guarantee most of the late money will be on DLH which will move the odds and improve the payout for PBF backers. Also for DLH backers vice versa, if you want to bet on DLH place bets now before the line shifts too much.

If you know anything about boxing, you won't put money down on DLH. All the people on this board are praying DLH wins, but they know deep down in their hearts that they would be throwing money away if they bet on him.

                      $2000 on Mayweather here...
