I hope you guys are right. I think its the size difference. Pac takes him out at 130 but at 135ibs i hope pac can hang. Im surprised though that alot of people think Diaz would be an easy fight for Pac. Popo was a good chin checker so we all know diaz has a chin which is something to factor in againts Pac at 135

His most impressive win was against Barrios, I think he's beaten some good fighters, a few close fights against Casa and Raheem. He was winning in a close fight against Chico until he got hurt badly in that fight.

His 3 big wins are against,

          Barrios - Good fighter
          Casa - good fighter
          Raheem - good fighter

Popo is not bad, but he does not have boxing in his blood anymore, he should just retire, what's the point of fighting the good fighters if you're going to quit!

your threads almost always end up talking about Pacquiao (usually in a bad way) or some mexican fighter.

and you tend to degrade fighters rather than give them credit for putting up a good fight.

First Casamayor is garbage, now Freitas? People at this site are sure open to extremes.

Anyway onto the post I quoted, good post, except I would take it a step further, as you are thinking of only the post-casamayor Freitas. People forget he had some good wins that pre-dated his match with Joel.

He took down some decent fighters (maybe not the level of the guys after Casamayor) like Daniel Alicea, Javier Jauregui, Anatoly Alexandrov, & Carlos Rios, with ease. Some other post Casamayor wins like Artur Grigorian & Daniel Attah werent bad either.

Like you said, he just lost the will to fight, probably since he has been living the good life.

I don't think that Zahir Raheem and Barrios are on the same level of Casamayor.

As far as the the Casamayor - Freitas fight, I thought Joel won it?

Neither Casa nor Freitas are garbage thats just rediculous.Freitas obviously has lost his desire to be a great Champion and one has to wonder if he ever really had the heart to begin with but either way is a good boxer and does have good power albeit not as good as it was at 130.....Diaz is gonna be special,He is only 23 and just fights like his life is on the line.....I see him giving anyone at 135 fits and if he had more power he would be a force at 140 and maybe even 147 someday.Pac vs Diaz would be a great fight......I don't want to predict a winner at this point but I would expect Diaz to give Pac all he could handle.Hopefully someday it will happen.
