Was 2004 a good boxing year or bust?

Good, I am glad we agree.
No matter who we pull for or argue about it was a great and fun year.
I am so sick of the media and people saying boxing is dead and on par with wrestling.
Greatest sport there is, and most entertaining.
What would you rather do, sit and watch rich privliged nerds hit little white balls
Or watch inbred, white trash, scumbag lowlifes drive in circles.
Or watch boring as hell baseball and basketball.
College football and boxing is where its at.

I take it as a personal insult for the two sport's to even be mentioned in the same sentence! My ex-father in law one day said "hey Tracy...wrasling (that's how the southern's pronounce it) is on" and I got pissed. I told him that boxing is REAL and wrestling is fake, scripted out bull****!! Then later that day he said something about me missing the "rest of the game"...SIGH, I had to explain to the man that boxing is not a game; it's one on one combat with no team, etc...
I only have so much patience!!

Golf,bowling,professional pool, Soccer and Tennis are also all sports that completly and utterly SUCK. especially compared to boxing.

Although I love to shoot pool, any sport other than football and boxing are redundant and pointless (boring) to me. I dont watch pro. billards, cause then I would hate them for being better than me! (Which it's all geometry, anyway)

it was a great year!! we had great fights. i'll name just a few!! pacquiao-marquez, trinidad-mayorga, freitas-corrales, williams-tyson, and that is just a few!! also great ko-s of mayorga, freitas, jones, delahoya!! great year!! one of the best in a long ass time!!
