Gatti was in his prime vs De La Hoya.

He was much past it vs Floyd.

I don't think he was in his prime when he fought either of them. Gatti never had the dedication to training that elite fighters need. He was too much of a party animal and irresponsible jerk outside of the ring. That said, Gatti was severly diminished by repeated savage beatings, even in his victories, by the time Mayweather fought him. That said, Mayweather would still have eaten a more game Gatti alive.

there was never a day that GATTI could survive more then 8 rounds with Floyd.

Mayweathers win was much more impressive. If i remember it correctly, Didnt Gatti do a good job boxing with De La Hoya in that first round?

De La Hoya, if just for the fact alone that Gatti was alot better when Hoya fought him.

Gatti was better against Floyd than he was against Oscar.

First of all it was at 140. Second of all Buddy McGirt was in his corner and that improved Gatti. Gatti was walking straight in to DLH.

BUT styles make fights and Oscar is never going to go untouched like Mayweather did.

                mayweather for me

the combinations that he was hitting gatti with sounded and looked real punishing.

                      Equally impressive in different ways.
De La Hoya concussed Gatti with superior power.
Mayweather chapped him up and made him look foolish with superior speed.
