    Oscar-Mayweather Side Thoughts?

1- Daddy's revenge? Does anyone believe that Sr. could go back to Oscar? I dont mean as his trainer but just to tell him some things. I found Seniors comments very interesting. He said he was really hurt with what Jr. said and that Oscar is the only one who has done something for him. Remember that Sr. was in Jr's camp for a long time. He probally saw the game plan. Would it be a shocker if Sr. called up Oscar and offer Jr's game plan for a fee? That wouldnt shock me at all. I could see Sr. being so upset with Floyd that he wants Oscar to win now even though he let him go. or he could just want to find a way to make some money off this fight.

2- The crowd? What do you guys think the crowd will be like in this fight? Im not talking about if its sold out because we know that will happened. Im talking about the percentage of Oscar fans compared to Floyd fans. Normally Oscar controls the crowd but I think Floyd will have alot of fans there since his name has gotten much bigger then people give him credit for, there will be some hip hop fans there, he lives in Vegas now, and most of all there will be alot of people who bet on him. However, Im still going with Oscar on the crowd. Therefore my question is can Floyd beat Oscar and the crowd? I could see this fight looking like alot of Oscar's fights e****ally the Sweet Pea fight. I could see Oscar throwing flurries which none of them land and Floyd is slipping the punches but the crowd still goes crazy. I could see Oscar landing some flurries but only because Floyd is letting him hit him on the arms and he's rolling the punches but the crowd is going crazy. Hopfully the judges wont be influnced by that. If Oscar does anything that looks good then the crowd will scream but half the time he wont even be landing.

3- Floyd's hands? No one is really talking about this anymore but I think this could make or break the fight. We all know Floyd has bad hands and wears those big pillow gloves but Oscar is not letting him wear them this fight. When the fight was 1st made even Sr. said that Oscar would win because Floyd's hands wont hold up. I think that could certainly happened. On the other hand I think it could backfire on Oscar and Floyd gets more power. It could work so well that Floyd decides to keep those little gloves for the rest of his career and gets more power. Also, I think Floyd could bring more power to this fight kind of like the Spinks-Karmazin fight. Remember, Spinks is featherfisted but he started off landing some very hard punches at a weight were everyone thought he would be weak at. However, as the fight went on Spinks looked very weak and had no steam on his punches. Could this be what happeneds to Floyd?

Oscar doesn't need senior when he has freddie roach. Freddie roach is one of the best at this training game. Roger Mayweather(floyds uncle who thinks that floyd wins because of him) is crap compared to Roach.

Oscar will have more fans there. The crowds probably going to be racially diversed. Mexicans rooting for Oscar, and blacks rooting for Floyd.

I had the same thoughts. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Sr., while with Oscar, actually laid out the plan on how to beat jr. by telling Oscar that the better chance on beating PBF would be to fight at 154, shrink the ring, and use Reyes gloves. My best guess.

After all, the anymosity between Sr and jr had grown to the extent that Sr felt offended that lil' Floyd had the audacity to challenge Oscar while Sr. was training him. Go figure.

          Sad, but a possibilty.

When Oscar gets in that ring. Nobody can help him. He will face the best fighter in the sport today. Floyd knows how to adapt, has a great arsenal of things he can do. Better handspeed, footwork, and all.

Oscar's fans will do the same thing they do every Oscar fight. Every time he throws a punch they'll go nuts, whether it lands or not. If the judges don't pull some Ike Quartey/ Felix Sturm bull****, Floyd will walk away 38-0.
