What do you think will happen if Oscar is totally schooled on May 5th? I'm curious myself to see if he needs to win to continue at his superstar level.

He might lose some fans, but he'll still be the biggest star in boxing.

Maybe slightly, but not that much.

Hopkins-De La Hoya was boring (although De La Hoya was reasonably competitive) and ended with a weak looking KO, but DLH-Mayorga did crazy PPV numbers.

Yeah he will loose a bit, but then again it won't matter because he should retire anyway if he is outclassed!

He was “tooled” by strum and his next two PPV’s did 1,000,000 and 925,000 respectively, so no.

He probably won't lose his drawing power. Good fighters will probably still want to fight him because they will get a huge payday. He has that appeal that goes beyond boxing and when he does fight people watch.

hes not going to lose, so we don't have to worry about it. Oscar is going to take a huge dump on floyds face.

If Oscar is dominated in a fshion that resembles Mayweatherr v. Gatti then I dont think it matters what his drawing power will be reduce to because OScar will flat out retire!
