Nope none there, handspeed - that goes to Zab as well, and by a LARGE margine at that. Power, I'll say this, I personaly think Zab has more power than Cotto. Is Cotto's chin any better than Judah's? I doubt it, he has been rocked by fighters with much less pop than Zab. The question that will have to be answered is whether or not Zab will stay focused - if he does, he wins it period. This fight will not go the distance, and I still say Zab wins by a KO in 7....
When have I seen Cotto cutting off the ring ? <~~are you for real ?
:Answer: Plenty of times. Miguel cuts the ring off very well.

Cotto has been rocked by corley & Torres who have who have more KO's than Baldomir & Spinks who's feather fisted so you still want to talk about chins ?

Baldomir also rocked Arturo Gatti. I wouldn't trivialize Baldomir's power.

Hey, you are free to root on Cotto, I really don't care, but on this thread you started by saying I should "quit announcing fights and start paying attention to them" - I blew that comment off, because I don't have time for people who simply throw insults like they are in grade school.

But now you are trying to tell me Cotto cuts off the ring like a fighter with good footwork would, and I have to say - please, spare me.

It all boils down to Zab, because if he wants this bad enough, (and I know he does from talking to him) there is no way a fighter like Cotto is going to beat a fighter with the quickness of Judah, it's just not happening. This is a bad matchup for Cotto, who will be surprised at the power and speed of Judah - and in this one, you will see Cotto backing up before it's over, mark my words on that...

Good point & I've been saying this from the beginning that I think it's a bad matchup for Cotto. I like Cotto but he's going to be fighting a completely different fighter in Judah. If Mayweather had trouble with Judah's speed Cotto is going to be in a world of trouble. And not only does he have to adjust to the speed but he has to deal with his power.

Sorry to see that you took it as an insult but I didn't mean it in that way..It was more of a jokey joke!! but anyway I'm in no way saying that Judah has no chance. I would be a fool to think that. All I'm saying is give Cotto some credit. You're making it sound as if speed is all you need in the sport of boxing to blow pass people. Yes this could possibly be a bad matchup but if Cotto come in sticking his jab & attacking the body cutting off the ring etc... He will prevail.

Good point, the way I see it Baldomir is too slow to catch people like Judah, for the most part, clean enough to get knockouts, hence his low knockout percentage.

Judah was rocked badly twice in the 7th, and then massivly in the 12th. He rocked Gatti in about every round. Cotto undoubtedly has the power Baldomir has, just not the chin. If Judah eats the shots that he took against Baldomir, and clowns around as much, it will be a short night for both of them.

But for some reason I can't see Cotto winning this.

                      Zab Judah TKO 11 maybe?
