    A Little Reminder..

What's the official word on De La Hoya vs. Mayweather?...

It seems that the majority on this forum are picking Oscar.

Most can agree Mayweather will be on the blade the whole night due to De La Hoya's formidable left hook, and all around superior punching power.

Floyd will have to fight a nearly perfect fight, or some say..

Can Floyd get inside and go to work?

Or is it just a matter of time before Oscar put's baby boy to sleep?..

Here's a little reminder of one possibilty.

    The one I'm going with.

You don't really think that's either possible or wise do you?..

Floyd can roll out like the FOI when Malcolm did that thing with his finger.

I'd say it's virtually impossible to corner him.

      Even in a ring.

dlh adapts in the ring,he's not like those screw ball fighters that wasnt smart in the head to try to corner floyd. All he has to do is do that and rough his little ass up.Also throw that nice left hook everytime he gets him there.

Yes, DLH has made no secret of his intention to fight physical.

I'm wondering if that isn't a potential ploy..

Several of Floyd's opponents have tried to get rough with him with moderate to decent results.. Castillo did it best.

Mayweather proved however in the rematch with Castillo that he can stay on the bike pulling hit-and-run all night.

Floyd has already inplied several times thoughout the promotion that's what he intends to do.

My pick immediately became Mayweather when I heard that..

Lets remember this is 154,this is a huge step for Mayweather, lets see if he can handle the weight difference.

              I totally agree.

Again, I'll say I was one of, if not the very first people on this site to imply Oscar would get the KO.

That's why I posted the first video at the top of this thread.

Oscar would be the rattlesnake in this case.

For all we know he has one-shot-one-kill potential in this fight.

at 154 floyd is going to be slower than he was against castillo, but he'll still hit like a 140 lb fighter. i think oscar would be smart to try and rough floyd up a little, but i think he should really be playing counterpuncher all night because if he can catch pbf open, oscar can hit him a lot harder than floyd can hit him. also i think oscar shouldn't go out there and try to push floyd around physically too much, we all know dlh has stamina problems - if he uses his boxing skills and plays the slick counterpuncher all night he can conserve energy. floyd will have to come to him, pot shot and then run away, dlh can catch him with some shots as he comes in and as he runs away
