Jason Litzau on The Comeback Road

Bob Van Syckle (Litzau’s trainer): "This is a very important fight for Jason. A win in this fight will get him back in the top ten rankings and back on HBO in a revenge match with Jose Hernandez. Jason had his best training camp ever. At first I was a little apprehensive about training in his hometown of St. Paul with all the temptations nearby, but, Jason showed his professionalism by maintaining a strict training discipline. He trained 3 times a day, starting with a run around Phalen Lake at 6:00 am, sparring at Rice Street Gym in the afternoon and finishing up with strength and conditioning at Lifetime Fitness in the evening. You will see a new and improved Jason Litzau with an emphasis on Defense and smart, aggressive offense." [details]

I never really thought much of Litzau. Hernandez just exposed the mediocre fighter that he is.

        his alias makes me cringe.

he's got skills and i guess he's young enough to improve his defence. i doubt he'll make it to the top of the division but he has enough to at least get a nabc or something similiar.

hopefully getting ko'd will teach him a little humility and he won't be so annoying.

It was.. But Litzau has tasted canvass quite a bit in his young career.

I would say that chin is a big problem..

Chin and heart... And he's annoying and he doesn't have either. He can step back in the ring but once he keeps upping his level of competition some other guy will knock him out.

Im surprised they are still trying to make him a star on HBO (if he wins the ESPN match), hes is very vunerable and if he doesn't change quick he will never see a decent payday

I also hope he takes a few ****ers to show his chin does exist.
