So why did most of the press had it for PBF?? It's sad but people actually listen to the 3 stooges from HBO more then they do from the real boxing press who are not ball-waxers like the way HBO guys can be.

Id like to point out I dont listen to the HBO crew or any other crew for that matter. I think I know enough about boxing to have my own opinion on the subject.

hbo did make is seem like oscar easly won that fight, but i had it for oscar. that fight for me was a victory for oscar just like second fight was floyds. no questions asked.
From my understanding, nearly 70% of press row had Floyd winning.
This was the fight right after Mayweather called Merchant a clown or somethingn to that extent.
Most of the respected press had it for PBF, also the 3 judges had it for PBF!
its hard now to settle this debate as people now rate mayweather on his post castillo I fights......ie he's a top p4p-er now, but I'm sure if you asked this question right after the fight, you'd have Castillo winning the debate with 90% of the votes.
It doesn't matter if you watch the fight now, right after the fight actually happened, or in 10 years from now. All you have to do is score the rounds. How exactly are fights that happened years after this one going to change your score of the fight? That makes no sense...

I remember one round when Oscar lands a punch in the last second of the round, Lampley screams that punch won Oscar the round, that was a round that Oscar did not land any punches until the last second of the round, I think it was either round 3 or 4.

but you have to remember floyd had the bigger name and was moving up in weight. castillo was a champion but who knew who he was?
so why not give the nod to the American olympian who at this point was looking forward to becoming a p4p great.
