Well Pavlik has always been whining about not getting a title shot, well he'll get his shot if he somehow beats Miranda. But that's not going to happen.

I think this is the dumbest fight for pavlik to pick. He's the underdog, he's lanky and skinny. I don't really like lanky/skinny fighters at all. And his last fight didn't impress me, which is the only fight I've ever seen of pavlik. He was getting hurt by zertuche alot, before he ko'd him. If Pavlik always fights like he does against fighters like zertuche, then he is getting ko'd probably in the 5th round by miranda. Zertuche is just an extremly ****ty version of Miranda, and I personally believe Zertuche gave Pavlik problems before Pavlik knocked him out cold. Mirandas a million times more agressive then Zertuche, and leaps stronger. And alot more skillful then Zertuche... This is really a big step up for someone like Pavlik... He's not ready, his management are pushing this fight too soon for Pavlik.

There were no other options for Pavlik. HBO said it is this fight or nothing. His management should have been stepping him up slowly over the past few years. It's there own damn fault he is jumping from playground to the pros overnight. He will be KO'd within 3 rounds. He is just too damn easy to hit and can't run like Green did.

thats true. at least when green's back was on the ropes, he wasted no time turning miranda around. that was green's most impressive move in the whole fight other than the KD. Pavlik's back hits those ropes, I DONT THINK HE CAN TURN MIRANDA AROUND LIKE GREEN DID, AND THATS KO CITY BABY!!!!!!

Looking at pavlik's record makes my cringe. The dude fought more fighters but no one even comes close to the level competition to Miranda. Kelly Pavlik probably would have went the distance with Willie Gibbs, while Miranda ko'd the same guy in the first round. His management really is ******ed, they honestly never believed in their own fighter to make fights happen to prepare him for this moment. This is not going to be a great fight, it's going to be a repeat of Allan Green but leaps shorter with pavlik getting ko'dddd. This is a mis-match, and a terrible one at that, boxing should be ashamed to let this fight happen. And I don't why people on this forum think Pavlik stands a chance. I've seen on other topics where people really think pavlik stands a chance... hahaha

Well.... I am kinda hoping your right. But Pavlik might surprise us and hang in there for awhile. He might even get some good shots off and connect on Miranda. But I really dont see him doing much for long. If he hurts Miranda, well, that's just gonna piss him off. And we all see what a piss off Miranda is capable of. 1st round stoppage wouldnt shock me, but it may go a few more if Pavlik can keep Miranda off him for a bit.
