the defenition of a great fighter is ...

The defenition of a great fighter is some someone who faught everyone outthere to be consider the best... sugar ray ,hagler, hearns and duran where the best in there time and they all faught eachother cause they wanted to be consider the best .Why did floyd didnt stay at welter and fight the good young fighters like cotto, margarito etc, instead he moved up to 154 to fight a out of his prime de la hoya.

There are two theads already about it, let's discuss it on the earlier thread. And I agree with you.

I was once a rabid PBF fan who thought he's a candidate for p4p greatness, but when I looked at his resume and analyzed things, I realized something was wrong.

What convinced me that PBF was a joke was when he insulted Marg, I never really liked Marg but when Marg responded, it was clear he was stuttering like a coward and had the balls to make excuses and settled for Baldo which with all due respect was vastly inferior to him, yet he insisted on fighting him.

That is not greatness. Only cowardice.

Then hooking you off on your own argument, PBF is indeed not great. Greatness bypasses petty issues of money and proceeds to face all challenges against him.

Not fight an over-the-hill and almost retired DLH.

Money is not an excuse. Only a sign that it is not greatness.
