    Pantera makes weight!

Middleweight contender Edison 'Pantera' Miranda successfully made his WBC required 30 day weight of 176 lbs. He was examined by Dr. Jose A. Curet Ramos in Puerto Rico on April 19th and weighed exactly 176 lbs which is within the 10% required by the WBC. He is scheduled to fight Kelly Pavlik on May 19th in Memphis, TN. The fight will be televised live on HBO and will be on the under card of Jermain Taylor vs Cory Spinks.

This is your chance Edison. Since you run your mouth u better back that **** up, or Jermain can look elsewhere.

Pavlik-Miranda will easily steal the show on that night, as much as I root for underachievers like Taylor and Spinks.

Everyone said Green-Miranda was going to be exciting...

That fight had only 2 or 3 good rounds. I can't blame Miranda though.

Why are they fighting at Light heavy and not MW?

They're not. The 30-day weigh-in is what they do to see if a fighter is on course to make weight. So pretty much he has a month left to lose 16 pounds.

Miranda has been putting on great shows for HBO lately and it is great......Although Green/Miranda did not live up to the hype excitement wise most of the fight.....It was very interesting to see Miranda dominate him most of the fight. When Miranda brutally KOs Pavlik Taylor will have no where left to hide...It's either Miranda or Calzaghe.....I see him running off to fight calzaghe because he will get paid more and also because he knows even if he loses to Calzaghe he won't be punished like he would be by Miranda.

HBO will be pushing for Miranda.
It just amazes me that Taylor has been completely ignoring Miranda with all his trash talking and calling out. Where has Taylor's balls gone? I can't wait for them to be in the same room together at the press conference before the fight. I see Miranda getting in his face and Taylor running to Dibella and hanging on to his leg like a little 5 year old girl!

Seems like Taylor is already thinking $$ when he should still ne trying to prove he is the best especially with the close call he had with B-hop and Winky.....they are trying to make Taylor some king when he has yet to dominate like a champ should....
