Wow, talk about reality sinking in. Financial demands??? You got stopped by this guy, the same guy who even a shot Vargas could beat rather easily, and now you almost duck out of a chance for revenge? Interesting...
I was impressed by Sturm's showing against DLH, but he simply hasn't done much since, and his chance to get an alphabet belt and position himself for a title shot, or at the least a fight against the Miranda/Pavlik loser while the winner fights Taylor...it's unfortunate.
Let's not forget that he turned down a shot vs. Taylor in Little Rock, and if he can't beat Castillejo, that will be something he'll never get another shot at. Even if he does, Taylor has alot lined up: Spinks, Pavlik/Miranda winner, Calzaghe, Wright rematch, etc.
He may never get his shot, because even if Taylor falters, whoever beats him will follow a similar path of opponents...and Sturm's name is nowhere to be found.Comment

if only we could know everything that goes on behind the scenes of these boxing things, maybe we would have reasons on why other mega fights never happened, it sucks just hearing what they tell us happened and what really could have happened, at least the fight is still on thoughComment
