Personally I'd say that Benn vs Eubank II would have been the most anticipated match up in history at 168lbs. -

Kessler is the lesser man, if he wants the fight, it should not be in Denmark it should be on Calzaghe's terms.
Trying to compare beating Librado Andrade and appearing on a 2 hour ESPN show to Joe Calzaghe's dominance in the division for the past 10 years is just laughable. So they can take their 5 mil, their venue and they can stick it up their arse, because Kessler needs to come to England or neutral ground if he wants the match up. The money is in the UK... this letter is just a JOKE!Comment

The letter on Palle's website was laughable. I think someone else got it spot on when they said that Warren had met his match in muppetdom.
I mean anyone who takes either side seriously needs their head checking. Calzaghe should have left Warren years ago, and Kessler won't do much better with Palle it seems.
A 50/50 fight in the UK seems "fair", or a 55/45, 60/40 split on neutral or Danish ground respectively, but I'm sure both sets of promoters will **** that up.Comment

If this offer can be taken at face value, it would seem that Calzaghe doesn't have a better option. There is no chance that Frank Warren is going to risk a 10 million guarrantee to Taylor, and the past has shown neither Winky Wright nor Bernard Hopkins can draw all that many more fans than Taylor. 5 million must be Calzaghe's limit and even that is a big risk for the Danish promoter.Comment

Do you really think that Palle would publish his offer in an open letter if he didn't meant it seriously? Now he can't run away from his offer (unlike Warren and his supposed offers ) without being exposed as a fraud.
Warren and Calzaghe are a joke. Team Palle could offer Joe $10,000,000 & even then, team Calzaghe would probably come up with some bull**** for a reason on why the fight can't happen.Comment
