Danish paper Berlingske writes that promoter Mogens Palle has offered Frank Warren no less than five million USD for a clash between WBO super middleweight champ Joe Calazaghe and WBA/WBC counterpart Mikkel Kessler, to take place in Copenhagen in September or later. Warren has previously went public with an offer for three million USD for Kessler to face Calzaghe in July in the UK, but Palle tells Berlingske the proposed contract didnīt arrive until yesterday and that he wasnīt impressed with what he read.
