But whats the point in having a trainer that you can whoop?
Eastman beat Robert what can robert teach him?
Sorry, i dont agree. Trainers dont need to be better than who they train.
    Would Ingle woop his fighters.
    Would demarcus woop tyson.

Wenger was a rubbish footballer. Great Coach.
Leadbetter and Butch Harmon were **** golfers. best coaches in the world.

Great boxers dont always make great coaches, imo its more about motivation and man management as well as technical aspects.

    Can Enzo Calzaghe woop Joe??

I respect your oppinion, but dont agree this time.

I think Eastman is in the same position that Ike Quartey is in now...their time is over & all they can realistically hope for at this stage in their careers is to get some last paydays as "useful" opponants.

Yeah I agree. Sometimes the people who weren't that great at a sport make the best coaches. Because they had to work the hardest to get there. They see what needs to happen, but during there careers there weren't able to perform because of their physical abilities.

In baseball there are a lot of managers who were catchers. Because the catchers have to be in the game through the whole nine innings. On most teams the catcher isn't necessarily the best player.

I still can’t believe the judges gave the fight against Joppy to Joppy. It’s one of the easiest fights you can score, first 6 rounds to Joppy, Last six to Eastman, Joppy down in the 12th, Eastman wins.

He’s still a name and a good stepping stone for some of the up comers.

I used to rate Eastman. I predicted him to beat hopkins because i thought Hopkins was overrated. It is in that fight that showed me Hopkins is better than i imagined and i gave him respect since beating Eastman.
Eastman says he feels great and strong. Its just a shame eastman when u step up to the plate you cant produce the goods.

I would agree that he should think about leaving mcracken but being a great fighter doesnt make you a great trainer. Billy Graham and Freddy Roach were both fairly mediocre pros and yet have made great trainers. Floyd Mayweather Sr wasnt a great fighter but if you listen to him he's a great trainer, although I would tend to disagree.
