will roach continue on oscar's corner after may 5th ?

this would be interesting we all know he hired roach instead of paying
2m to mayweather sr demanded. Will roach continue training oscar after
may 5th ? we all know may 5th is not going to be oscar's last fight win or lose.....or will he go back with mayweather sr.
I doubt it that he'll go back with his old trainer mayweather i think roach and oscar are getting along very well more than everything as friends,
I never thought roach was this good, he is great now that i got to look
a lil bit into freddie roach.........what will SR. say ??????

I don't believe so. I think it was just a contract for this one fight. But who knows. I also don't think Oscar is gonna fight all that much more so if he does fight again, maybe who could run the same deal with Roach again. A 1 type fight training thing. Roach is clearly all for Manny right now. Flying down just to coach Manny for this past fight while still under training Oscar shows it.

You never know with De La Hoya. He has used many trainers throughout his career. However, i really don't see him working with Mayweather Snr again.

Excellent line of exploration for the thread.

I can't see Mayweather coming back.

Not the way his face looked on 24/7.

And not the way they parted ways.

So I would say there's a good chance Roach will stick.

But that also hinges on the outcome, of course.

De La Hoya is a standup guy I figure, and I think he'd stick it out with Mr. Roach regardless.

i hope he stays with roach, who knows though how many fights oscar has left? i don't think too many, but roach is the best guy for him. freddie is the best at motivating his fighters, he really understands the psychological part of the game but then manny steward does too, and atlas

Just watched the show 24/7 today and Roach was saying they clicked really well and really fast. (Less than a Week)

I think they like and respect each other. My guess is he will keep Roach.
