I have seen 10 haye fights, he has a lot of power at cruiser and good speed, the big problem at cruiser has been his stamina but thats because he cant make the weight properly, and if you watch his only loss to Thompson he lost because he ran out of gas after just 3 rounds. his stamina should be much better at heavy i think he would be an average size heavy as he is about 6ft3" and is gonna weigh in at about 215lb - 220lb. i am not sure if he can make it at heavy if he can take a punch then yes but if not probably no.

I dont think he will be anything special. Sure he will beat some decent heavyweights and look good at times. But i dont really think he is that skillful really, let alone not having a great chin and endurance.
He is fast and powerful. I think i could even say he is a poor mans Herbie Hide.

i hope he does do well just to add more flare to the sport. the guy is pretty exciting to watch, has insane KO power and speed, and he's got the mug to attract alot of hollywood attention to the sport. he could be a HW de la hoya as far as being a slut magnet. it'd be a good thing to see a boxer out on network, mainstream TV again.

I think the real question here is does David Haye have the feet to be fleetfooted?

He could hold his own against most fighters, but he'd never be undisputed.

Haye is an excellent boxer but I can see him being KO'd at heavyweight on a regular basis if he steps up. He has way to much skill to have to be bothered with the heavyweight division...he can take a punch at cruiserweight but at heavyweight he'll be a a sitting duck.

His fight against fragomini showed that he gets tagged quite often....he took the punches but did look a bit hurt....

If he gets a big 260lb guy wailing on him like that he'll have a short career

Haye is quality, i put his loss to the cat as very naive and showed inexperiance, dont read too much into that loss.
I feel he is unlucky as he is not quite big enough to be a top class heavy. Im also unsure about him being able to make cruiser many more times.
Still i hope he does well.
I would like to see him fight the Welsh Kid
