I heard he's gonna go for Cazares title, not an easy thing to do coz Cazares last time he stepped in the ring he came in at 132! Calderon better get used to sparring with bigger opponents.

Calderon is one hell of a technician. It's too bad that he's going to have to move up (possibly significantly) to get paid and to get recognition. He'll probably end up losing to some guy who is just too big for him. Someone like Arce who comes into fights at the lightweight limit.
You give him a chance against Cazares? I see it a pretty tough fight but def something he can win.

I'm not extremely familiar with Cazares so I don't feel just in commenting on an outcome. All I know about Cazares is that he beat another pretty good PR fighter in Dieppa. You familiar with him (Cazares)?

Calderon has the skills to compete at higher weights that for sure. I just have a strange feeling that he's going to run into some huge fighter who drains down to lighter weights.

I cant say I really know Cazares neither, saw Dieppa coming on from behind as the fight was stopped due to cuts, then on the second one got KTFO, saw him KOing Nene Sanchez and also had a good fight against Samurai Del Valle. But this time it would be against a very slick south paw in his prime. Not sure if the edge advantage will do him any good against Calderon. Definitely has a punchers chance thou.
