Anyone know why Terry Smith was replaced in the Byrd fight Wednesday?

Smith fights alot here in the Tulsa area...he's no world beater but he always comes in ready and always brings it.

I thought Byrd was a great fight for his style so I was excited about this.

Anyone have any info about the switch?

I don't have your answer, but Smith would be a much better opponent to test what Byrd has left than Paul Marwhogivesa****.

I wasn't even aware that Smith was his original opponent.

Byrd's people thought Smith was too tough of a comeback fight. They want something that presents absolutely no risk. I read that somewhere, maybe a Rafeal notebook on espn.com.
